Rosmarin Consulting currently provides Strategic Physician Advisory Services to Obgyn, Pediatric, ENT, Orthopedics and Internal Medicine practices.
Physician practices with less than 10 physicians typically do not have a CEO. Rather, they rely on the on-site business manager who generally does not have the experience of a seasoned healthcare professional on business issues such as managed care, human resources, compensation, group purchasing, and banking, as well as strategic matters such as adding physicians to the practice.
Rosmarin Consulting provides physician groups with ongoing management, oversight, and strategic advisory services on a recurring basis at a minimum of five hours per month including interface with physician group partners which is generally in-person at their monthly meeting. I also interface closely as-needed with the on-site practice management designee – typically the business manager – and the accountant who prepares the financial statements. My clients appreciate the monthly analysis I prepare on their financial performance and operational metrics, in addition to accounts receivable analysis, and checks and balances on the business to ensure the integrity of the processes. Current clients include specialties such as Obgyn, Pediatrics, ENT, Orthopedics, and Internal Medicine.
Rosmarin Consulting also provides Physician Strategy Advisory Services to hospitals and health systems in dealing with the idiosyncrasies of their physician groups either owned by the hospital and health system, or residing on the campus.
